Our chalk is dug from the extensive limestone deposits of the South Downs. Robins of Herstmonceux’s chalk is a pure, inert natural product, free from contaminants and of a guaranteed consistency.
Our Chalk is ideal for general fill, deep fill, drainage layers or fill to strutures. It is available in vast quantities for road building and other large scale developments. The compaction quality of our chalk is second to none.
It classes as various Highway specifications from 1A, 6E, 6I, 6N, 6P, 6R or 6S.
Our Chalk was used on the A23 construction, the new football stadium at Brighton and the Olympic Stadium.
Chalk 20mm
We can provide you with various grades of chalk to help meet your requirements and we are happy to discuss your specific requirements in detail. We can offer a 10mm to 20mm grading or a 20mm to 40mm grading.
